The Queensland SIV (Special Interest Vehicle) Conditional Registration scheme allows owners of vehicles 30 years or older to register at significantly reduced rates — and NBCCC membership is your gateway to accessing this scheme.
Many members find the SIV savings alone more than justify the $75 annual membership fee. SIV vehicles have some usage conditions, but for classic car enthusiasts who drive their cars to shows and events rather than daily, these rarely pose any issue.

1Vehicle must be 30 or more years old

2Owner must be a current, financial member of an incorporated Queensland vehicle club (NBCCC)

3Vehicle cannot be driven to or from work under SIV conditions

4Testing & tuning permitted within 30km of registered address

5Events must be logged before they occur — no backdated entries
Important: It is a condition of SIV registration that the vehicle operator must remain a current member of a QLD Incorporated Vehicle Club at all times. If your membership lapses, your SIV registration becomes invalid and penalties apply. Penalties are up to $2,757 for vehicles under 4.5 tonnes.

We're pleased to offer junior memberships for younger car enthusiasts looking to get involved with the club. Junior membership recognises that the next generation of classic car lovers is just as important as the community we've built since 1988.
